Rock the Clock events will take place in the country Victorian town of Camperdown in October. Born from the loss of the awesome Camperdown Cruise the event designed for a broader audience.
Pinup show was a great as ever with some the scene’s favourites and some unforgettable performances. The overall event has lost the vibe of the old Camperdown Cruise and the crowds seemed smaller. Half the number of cars and stall holders and what is a festival without overpriced food and drinks.
This year was run over 4 days with the first bands kicking off on the Thursday.
Friday night had a drive-in showing of Back to the Future at the showgrounds which I missed. Johnny Cash Tribute Show by Mick Coates and the All NiteLongers – Madden’s Commercial Hotel
Through the day on the Clock Tower Stage
- Miss Rock The Clock
- Vendor Parade
- Best Dressed Competition
- Dance Competition
- Vintage/Retro Car and Bike Show
- Family Dance featuring Tuniversal
- Fashion Vintage to Retro

I headed home not long after the pin up competition. Missing The Rechords, Gleny Rae Virus and Peter Daffy Band.
Sadly I missed the Best Dress parade. Undecided about next year, likely to be a day trip at best.
